Korawit Rupanya is a researcher with a strong academic foundation in software and knowledge engineering, complemented by advanced training through the Erasmus Mundus Master's Programme Software Engineers for Green Deal. His work spans full-stack development, data-intensive systems, and software architectures, with a particular emphasis on sustainability and the design of trustworthy socio-technical systems. Through international academic collaborations and research projects, he has developed methodological expertise in engineering software that balances performance, adaptability, and long-term impact.
He is now pursuing his doctoral research at Aalto University, where he is part of the Aaltosea research group. You can learn more about their work by visiting rdsea.github.io. His current research focuses on Hybrid Intelligence Software (HIS), with particular attention to trustworthiness dimensions such as robustness, explainability, and fairness in edge–cloud continuum environments.
